It is with great sadness that we learned today of the passing of New Mexico’s House Speaker Ben Lujan. Elected to the New Mexico legislature in 1975, Speaker Lujan rose through the ranks of New Mexico's legislature and today he is recognized as “one of the most influential” legislators in New Mexico history.
