Amanda Clinton is a small business owner and citizen of the Cherokee Nation who won a June special election to protect a key seat in the Oklahoma House. Amanda worked as a journalist helping tell important stories from her community, and today she works with Tribal governments to help them best serve their people. Now, Amanda is ready to step up and lead her district by pushing back against years of Republican mismanagement that has left her state with one of the highest rates of child poverty in the nation and some of the worst public access to quality education and health care.
