James Mercer founded a non-profit to connect veterans with dignified support services while also providing kids with healthy meals and educational programs. Every day, James works to uplift some of the most disadvantaged members of his community, and he’s running for the North Carolina Senate to fight for public school funding, housing access, and small business support. As a Nash County native, James is excited to flip his district blue.
