Lauren Dees-Erickson knows what it takes for diverse, working families to thrive in rural communities. The vice-chair of her local city planning commission and a county delegate to the State Democratic Committee, she works to serve her community and build a more equitable future. A proud mom, Lauren is excited to join the legislature as the first Black woman to represent her town to help protect the environment, improve the quality of education, and build an economy that works for all.
