Lindsey Dougherty

Lindsey Dougherty is a Senior Research Administrator at Virginia Commonwealth University, running to flip a seat in the Virginia House this November. This year, Lindsey has seen firsthand how Trump and Republicans’ extremist DOGE cuts have decimated critical research initiatives and jobs her community depends on. Like many of Virginia’s working families,  Lindsey has fought through financial uncertainty and serious medical issues to give her family the life they deserve. If she is elected this fall, she will continue that fight to ensure every member of her district has a powerful voice in Richmond.
