May was raised in low-income housing and helped out in her parents’ small takeout restaurant to make ends meet before putting herself through college. Today, May leads initiatives that impact thousands of employees and is a tireless advocate for women, Asian Americans, and other underrepresented communities. May is ready to win another House seat for Democrats and get to work building an economy that uplifts working families, winning funding for public schools, and expanding access to quality health care.
