WASHINGTON — Earlier today, Republicans in the New Hampshire House of Representatives effectively voted to end the 2020 legislative session early, leaving more than 200 bills pending after the legislative session was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic. In response, Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee President Jessica Post released the following statement:
“In the midst of an unprecedented global health emergency and an economic crisis, New Hampshire Republicans voted to abandon their constituents. Obstructionist GOP legislators would rather score cheap political points than pass legislation to help New Hampshire families. Partisan antics like these are why Democrats are poised to expand their majorities in the Granite State this year.”
