Democrats Claim Victory In Swing State Legislative Special Election

 

 

WASHINGTON — Tonight Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee (DLCC) Executive Director Jessica Post celebrated state Representative-elect Austin Davis’s victory in the special election for Pennsylvania House District 35.

 

Davis, a lifelong McKeesport resident and Vice-Chair of the Alleghany County Democratic Committee, carried the Pittsburgh-area district winning over 70% of the vote. His vision for the district and his dedication to local issues like reducing crime, fostering job creation, fixing crumbling roads and bridges, supporting public schools and expanding Pre-K programs, and increasing drug treatment options resonated with his future constituents.
