DLCC Announces New Races To Watch In 2018

 

 

WASHINGTON — After releasing its Flip Everything initiative outlining the 17 seats Democrats need to win in order to flip eight legislative chambers this November, the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee (DLCC) is highlighting additional state Democrats running this fall on its Spotlight Races page.

 

Today, DLCC Executive Director Jessica Post highlighted another 35 candidates from eight states who are running to expand the Democrats’ blue wall against Trump’s extremist agenda in places like Georgia, Montana, North Dakota, and beyond.

 

“As we continue to shatter our previous records in candidate recruitment and fundraising, the DLCC is already on the ground in targeted states nationwide, working with our legislative leaders, caucuses, and partners to defend Democratic values and lead our nation forward,” said Post. “Our Spotlight Races page has helped bring national attention to our candidates running in critical races across the country, and we look forward to helping them win seats and gain more majorities.
