WASHINGTON — In response to the Minnesota primary results, Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee President Jessica Post released the following statement:
“Minnesota is a top priority for the DLCC this cycle, and I could not be more excited to work to elect this incredible slate of DFL candidates as we head into the final months of the midterm election. While Minnesota DFLers have worked to protect abortion rights, defend access to the ballot box, and make the state more fair and equitable, the GOP is working to drag the state backward. If Republicans take control of the state, they will attack the right to an abortion and other fundamental rights.
“In 2022, it’s critical that we defend the Minnesota House and work to flip the Minnesota Senate. The DFL is ready to defend access to health care and privacy for all Minnesotans and to protect the state’s long tradition of ensuring access to the ballot box. Republicans are desperate to take full control of the legislature, and we must mount a strong challenge to stop them.”
