Pennsylvania is a top priority for the DLCC as we continue to build Democratic power in this key battleground.
WASHINGTON—Today, the DLCC announced a six-figure investment to support three liberal Pennsylvania State Supreme Court justices ahead of their November 4th retention elections.
If all three are successful, they will help secure the liberal majority on the court through the end of the decade and for redistricting in 2030. In addition to holding the power to rule on challenges to Pennsylvania’s congressional and legislative maps, the stakes are high for the future of voting and abortion rights.
Earlier this year, the DLCC added these races to our target map, building on our prior engagement in Pennsylvania Supreme Court races. In 2023, the DLCC made a six-figure investment in our partners to support Justice Daniel McCaffery’s successful bid, which helped protect access to abortion and voting rights.
