Margie Donlon

Dr. Margie Donlon is a career physician who was twice elected as a councilmember of Ocean Township where she currently serves as the deputy mayor. She is passionate about creating a healthier New Jersey, having previously served on one of the governor’s health care committees as well as on her local recovery advisory council during the height of the COVID pandemic.  Now, Margie is ready to advocate for her hometown, especially on issues like protecting the shore’s fragile ecosystems and responding to the growing climate crisis. 

• Worked with the Environmental Commission, the Shade Tree Commission, and several other initiatives working to protect fragile ecosystems on the New Jersey shore 
• Active community volunteer who teaches adaptive surfing to children with disabilities in her free time
