Q: Can a guest accompany me to this meeting?
A: Attendees may have up to one guest at the evening events. There are no spouse or guest fees for legislators. There is a $100 spouse or guest fee for Finance Council attendees. Guests may be family or friends, not additional representatives from your company or organization. Guests are allowed to attend the evening events and breakfast on July 23.
Q: How can I pay my registration and/or guest fee?
A: Payment is due upon registration. Your registration is not complete until your payment has been processed. For instructions on how to pay your fee(s), please visit our payment page.
Q: When will I receive detailed information and briefing materials for this event?
A: A full briefing memo and other materials will be emailed to attendees five business days prior to the event.
Q: What is your COVID-19 policy and plan?
A: The DLCC does not require attendees to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test to gain entry to events. However, we still ask that you not attend if you have received notification of COVID-19 exposure or had close contact with a COVID-19-positive person five or fewer days before the event, or are experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms. At all DLCC events, guests should feel free to maintain any personal precautions they feel are necessary.
Q: Is it possible to extend my hotel stay?
A: Extended reservations will be subject to hotel availability, and market rates may apply. Legislators should note their extension requests when they register, and all extensions will be considered case by case. All other attendees should work directly with the hotel to extend their reservation.
Q: Can I reserve additional rooms for myself or my guests in the room block?
A: The DLCC’s room block is first reserved for approved meeting attendees. Access to additional rooms is subject to availability.
Q: Is the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino accessible?
A: The Mandalay has ADA-accessible rooms available. Please call them at 877-632-7700 to make these arrangements. Please note your request when you register if you require a meeting accommodation.
Q: What is the dress code for the conference?
A: Business casual attire is appropriate for all of our events. The temperature will likely be in the 100s during the day and the high 70s at night. Our event will be fully indoors, and a light sweater or jacket is advised for those sensitive to air-conditioning.

A: The most populous city in Nevada has many entertainment options for adults and families. Please visit www.visitlasvegas.com for information on shows, casinos, and dining.
Q: Is this meeting open to the press?
A: This is an invitation-only meeting. It is off-the-record and closed to the press. We ask that attendees refrain from recording sessions to ensure the privacy of our events.
Q: What is the DLCC’s social media policy?
A: Some of the information provided in our policy sessions is confidential. We ask that you please refrain from posting about these sessions on social media. You are welcome to do so for any keynote speeches throughout the meeting. Please refrain from video recording during the meeting.
Q: What is the DLCC’s harassment policy?
A: Attendees are expected to exercise common sense in their personal interactions: they should extend common courtesy and mutual respect to fellow attendees and staff members as well as respect for private property. Harassing or offensive behavior will not be tolerated. The DLCC reserves the right to revoke the attendance and badge of any attendee not in compliance with this policy. Persons finding themselves in a situation where they feel their safety is at risk or who become aware of an attendee not in compliance with this policy should immediately locate the nearest member of DLCC staff so that the matter can be addressed.
