Reservations
The DLCC will provide one complimentary night (December 12th) for each legislator participant, and up to two complimentary nights (December 11th & 12th) for members of the DLCC Board of Directors. We cannot guarantee access to additional hotel rooms in the DLCC’s room block for guests and legislative staff. The DLCC expects that all legislators will attend the entire meeting, as outlined in the agenda, unless otherwise noted during registration.

Complete the registration form by November 14th to guarantee your room reservation. After this date, our room count cannot be guaranteed. DLCC staff will make a reservation for you and provide you with a confirmation number prior to the event. Any cancellations must be received by November 17th.

***Please note some states restrict or limit the circumstances under which legislators may accept food, beverages, lodging, travel, or other things of value from certain sources. Many states also create exemptions for events like this. Before accepting anything of value at a DLCC event, we advise that you verify with an ethics official in your state that you may do so.***

Travel Costs:
The DLCC does not cover the cost of travel to the meeting.

Airports:
Reagan National Airport (DCA) – 4 miles

Transportation from the Airport:

• Public Transportation: DC’s Metro is available directly outside the airport. Take the Yellow Line to Gallery Place or take the Blue Line to Metro Center and transfer to the Red line towards Shady Grove. Exit at the Farragut North metro stop.
• Rental Cars: Most major rental car companies are available at DCA. Currently The Mayflower only has a self-park option for $45/day.
• Ride Share: Uber & Lyft service DCA. Please follow the signs in the airport to locate ride share pick-up for your terminal.
• Taxis: Designated taxi stands are located outside of the baggage claim.
  

Dulles International Airport (IAD) – 27 miles

Transportation from the Airport:

• Public Transportation: Take the Silver Line to Metro Center and transfer to the Red Line towards Shady Grove. Exit at the Farragut North metro stop.
• Rental Cars: Most major rental car companies are available at IAD. Currently The Mayflower only has a self-park option for $45/day.
• Ride Share: Uber & Lyft service IAD. The new pick-up location is located on the ground level outside of the baggage claim, accessible via Doors 2, 4, and 6.
• Taxis: Designated taxi stands are located on the lower level of the terminal outside of door 2 and door 6.
  

Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI) – 36 miles

Transportation from the Airport:

• Public Transportation: Both MARC and Amtrak are available to travel into Washington DC, arriving at Union Station. From there take the DC Metro Red line towards Shady Grove and exit at the Farragut North stop.
• Rental Cars: Most major rental car companies are available at BWI. Currently The Mayflower only has a self-park option for $45/day.
• Ride Share: Uber & Lyft service: Please follow the signs in the airport to locate ride share pick-up for your terminal.
• Taxis: Designated taxi stands are located on the lower level of the terminal outside of door 5 and door 13.
