Reservations
The DLCC will provide two complimentary nights (October 14 & 15) for each legislator participant. We cannot guarantee access to additional hotel rooms in the DLCC’s room block for guests, and DLCC meetings are not intended for legislative or political staff unless specifically invited. The DLCC expects that all legislators will attend the entire meeting, as outlined in the agenda unless otherwise noted during registration.

Complete the registration form by 5 PM ET on September 12 to guarantee your room reservation. After this date, our room count cannot be guaranteed. DLCC staff will make a reservation for you and provide you with a confirmation number prior to the event. Any cancellations must be received by September 12.

***Please note some states restrict or limit the circumstances under which legislators may accept food, beverages, lodging, travel, or other things of value from certain sources. Many states also create exemptions for events like this. Before accepting anything of value at a DLCC event, we advise that you verify with an ethics official in your state that you may do so.***

Travel Costs:
The DLCC does not cover the cost of travel to the meeting.

Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) – 16 miles

Transportation from the Airport:

• Rental Cars: All major rental companies are available at ORD. You can take the Airport Transit System to the Multi-Modal Facility where rental car facilities are located. Please visit the ORD rental car website for more information about available options.
• Rideshare and Taxis: Uber and Lyft service ORD. To schedule a taxi please see the airport’s transportation page for more information.
• Car Share: Please visit Turo or Getaround for car availability and pricing information.
• Train: ORD is serviced by the Blue Line of the L, Chicago’s train system. You can use CTA’s Trip Planner to see the quickest route to The Drake from ORD.
  

Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW): 13 miles

Transportation from the Airport:

• Rideshare & Taxis: Uber and Lyft both service MDW. The pickup location is next to the baggage claim on the lower level between doors 2-4. Taxis stands are located outside all terminals at MDW. Please visit the MDW Taxi and Rideshare webpage for more information.
• Rental Cars: The Midway Car Rental Center is located at 5150 W. 55th Street. The center features all major rental car companies and is serviced by a shuttle that picks up next to Lower Level Door #2.
• Car Share: Please visit Turo or Getaround for car availability and pricing information.
• Train: ORD is serviced by the Orange Line of the L, Chicago’s train system. You can use CTA’s Trip Planner to see the quickest route to The Drake from MDW.
