Anand Patel

Anand Patel is a local business owner whose parents immigrated from India when he was just two years old. Now, he’s running for the Pennsylvania House with a chance to flip his district blue and expand the House Democratic majority. Anand believes economic development requires less red tape for local businesses, a higher minimum wage, and good union jobs to help workers support their families. He’s also a strong proponent of improving public education through increased funding and providing tax breaks for the elderly by asking the wealthiest members of the commonwealth to pay their fair share.
