About Denise

Rep. Denise Mentzer is a Michigan local and former City Commissioner running for reelection to the Michigan House. During her ten years on the Mount Clemens City Commission, Denise gained valuable public service experience. This experience has made her a vital member of the State House’s Democratic majority, where she helped repeal Michigan’s antiquated abortion ban. Denise is excited to return to Lansing and keep fighting for affordable health care and lower prescription drug costs, investments in critical infrastructure, high-paying job opportunities, and increased access to college and trade schools.
