Greg Kaplan has spent almost three decades teaching at the University of Tennessee, dedicating his time outside the classroom to working with local non-profits and strengthening Knoxville’s Jewish community. After MAGA Republicans passed their “Divisive Concepts” bill that attacks teachers' autonomy and hyper-politicizes classrooms, he was inspired to run for the House to defend public school teachers and students across the state. Greg is ready to push back against GOP extremism and help his future Democratic colleagues build a better future for Tennessee.
