Heather Sievers

Heather Sievers is a former nurse running for the Iowa House. Heather’s path led her through the state’s public school system all the way to her graduation from the University of Iowa. She’s disturbed by lawmakers’ unwillingness to invest in public education, which has left working families like hers behind. She intends to fight for full funding for public schools from day one. As a health care professional, Heather is also committed to leading the way toward better, more affordable care. She understands that quality education and health care go hand in hand as the foundation for progress, and she’s ready to fight for every Iowan at a time when partisan extremism threatens their most fundamental rights.
