A born-and-raised Kansan, Jacquie Lightcap is a nonprofit volunteer coordinator running for the Kansas House. As a highly involved member of her community, Jacquie works every day to bring positive change to the people of Topeka. Jacquie first started volunteering at a hospital as a teen, and today she has expanded that work to include efforts with the League of Women Voters, her local school board, and various roles within her church. If Jacquie successfully flips her district this fall, she is excited to hit the ground running and work to find solutions to build the state’s economy, support quality public education, and increase access to health care.
