Representative Laura Supica was inspired to first run for public office after working multiple local service jobs just to make ends meet. Following her election to Bangor’s City Council, Laura ran for the state legislature. In her first term, she helped members of her community get ahead by sponsoring legislation to extend paid family leave benefits and expanding health care coverage, including adding dental coverage to MaineCare. Laura is running for a second term to continue working to cut costs for all Mainers.
