Luanne Peterpaul

Luanne Peterpaul is a former county prosecutor and municipal judge who describes her career as “taking on tough fights and standing up against bullies.” As a practicing legal professional, Luanne focuses on labor and employment and is highly respected in the legal community as an expert on workplace issues and education. She’s spent her career standing up for vulnerable members of her community and will bring this tenacious fighting spirit to the General Assembly.

• Instrumental in advocating for bipartisan anti-bullying legislation as chair of the Garden State Equality Action Fund
• A staunch advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, she would be New Jersey’s first openly LGBTQ+ woman to be elected to the Assembly
