Michelle Hinchey

The daughter of former New York Congressman Maurice Hinchey, Senator Michelle Hinchey has effective leadership and policy-making in her DNA. One of the youngest women in the Senate to represent an upstate district, she has brought energy and passion to the legislature, helping pass dozens of bills that bolster local communities — including key measures that strengthen New York’s agriculture industry. Michelle is excited to return to the Senate to keep fighting for a brighter future for all New Yorkers.
