Mihaela Plesa is the daughter of eastern European immigrants, a proud north Texan, and a successful advocate for her communities. During the last three legislative sessions in Texas, Mihaela has helped state Democrats craft and pass crucial legislation, including a popular proposition that helps gold star families get the support they need. Mihaela is ready to bring her policy-making expertise and passion to the House, where she will help her colleagues fight against GOP extremism and expand access to affordable health care.
