About Mike

Representative Mike Halpin hails from a working-class family and is the first member of his immediate family to graduate college. Mike has dedicated his career to public service, providing pro bono representation for veterans, clerking for the former Chief Justice of the state Supreme Court, and now serving in the Illinois House. Mike is excited to join the Senate to keep serving his state and community by fighting for a better future for SD-36 and all of Illinois.
