As a community organizer, Nabilah Islam spent countless hours mobilizing voters to ensure their voices were heard. Now, voters have chosen her to represent them in the Senate, where she’s working to expand accessible health care and voting rights.
Nabilah Islam is the child of immigrant parents and a longtime organizer and community advocate. From working with the Gwinnett Democratic Party on local races to organizing canvassers to knock on over 34,000 doors in federal runoff elections, Nabilah has shown her tireless commitment to getting out the vote in Georgia. Continuing her advocacy, she recently helped organize to remove the last confederate monument in Gwinnett County. Nabilah has worked to mobilize diverse populations to help their communities thrive and Democrats to win. Now running for state Senate, Nabilah is ready to bring her long track record of community outreach and leadership to the legislature.
