Representative Rachel Talbot Ross is a ninth-generation Mainer, dedicated public servant, and lifelong social justice advocate. Before serving in the House, Rachel led numerous advocacy organizations, including the NAACP of Maine. Rachel is the first and only Black woman elected to the Maine legislature. She has risen to the role of House Majority Whip after fighting to enact police reform, increase health care benefits, and pass legislation that will benefit all Mainers.
