Representative Rick Hansen was raised on his family’s farm in rural Minnesota, which sparked his lifelong commitment to helping rural communities thrive. Since being elected to the legislature in 2004, Rick has received numerous legislative awards and has been a force for protecting the environment, lowering health care costs, and cutting costs for everyday Minnesotans. Running for his 10th term, Rick is ready to continue to build a future where all Minnesotans, from Minneapolis to the north country, can thrive.
