Ricky Hurtado, a North Carolina native and a son of working-class immigrants, is passionate about fighting poverty and ensuring all families can thrive. Ricky contributed to several community organizations and policy initiatives, including Governor Cooper’s DRIVE Task Force to advance education equity and teacher diversity across North Carolina. In his run for the state House, Ricky is fighting for his community and working towards a more just North Carolina.
