Roni Green is a community and labor leader who has spent more than thirty years advocating for Philadelphia’s most vulnerable residents. After her landmark 2020 special election win, she immediately got to work co-sponsoring more than 200 pieces of legislation and addressing issues of food insecurity, unemployment, and affordable housing. Roni is a fierce advocate for equitable funding for Philadelphia’s public schools and aims to ensure that a child’s zipcode doesn’t dictate their quality of education.
