Ruth Buffalo

Representative Ruth Buffalo has a deep connection to the land and the people she represents. A citizen of the Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara Nations, Ruth has dedicated her career as a community advocate and legislator to improving the health and financial well-being of individuals and families across the state. She has been a relentless advocate for expanded voting access, Indigenous rights, and affordable health care in the legislature. Ruth is ready to return to the House to continue fighting for Indigenous peoples and every North Dakotan community.
