After decades in both the private and non-profit sectors, Sam became the first Indian-American to serve in the Michigan state legislature and was elected as minority leader of the House. Sam brings seasoned leadership to his run for Senate and is ready to continue fighting for legislation to defend Michiganders' freedom to vote.
