Schuyler VanValkenburg

As a high school history teacher for over 10 years, Schuyler VanValkenburg is a strong advocate for public schools and wants to make Virginia a nationwide leader in education equality. As a delegate in the Virginia House, he’s worked on legislation to improve the standard for school counseling and served on the select committee for school safety. Now, he’s ready to take his talents to the state Senate where he will continue championing progressive values.
