Shadia brings proven experience to her run for the House, having led a national campaign to hold human rights violators in Syria accountable. The first Syrian-American woman to win a nomination for the Michigan legislature, Shadia is excited to represent Michigan’s diverse Arab community in the House and fight for world-class education, economic stability, and reproductive rights for all Michiganders.
