Shadia Martini is a small business owner and entrepreneur running to flip a seat in the Michigan House. Shadia immigrated to the United States from Syria in 1992, fleeing authoritarian violence. She understands the importance of a robust democratic process and will fight any attempts to erode voting rights and public trust in fair elections. With 20+ years of firsthand experience as a business owner, she will be an advocate for economic growth and policies that benefit working families. This commitment includes reducing the cost of living, prioritizing public school funding, maintaining transportation infrastructure, increasing access to health care, and encouraging the use of renewable energy.
