Virginia Stapleton is a local leader who serves as president of the Salem City Council, and this fall, she’s running for the Oregon House. The issues Virginia has worked to solve in her hometown are the same ones facing working families across the state. As a leader in her community, she’s been instrumental in efforts to protect the environment, address homelessness, and improve public transit. Now she’s ready to take the fight to the House, where she’s committed to working on legislation to expand access to affordable health care, housing, and education while doing everything she can to protect reproductive freedom and LGBTQ+ rights.
