WASHINGTON — The Worcester Telegram & Gazette published an op-ed from DLCC President Heather Williams highlighting the contrast between the priorities of the Democratic and Republican leadership in the states and what that means for 2024 state legislative elections. Using New Hampshire as an example where Republicans have continuously wielded their slim majorities to push abortion restrictions and attack LGBTQ+ communities, Heather highlights why regaining the House and making gains in the Senate is a top priority for the DLCC in November. This is the most important year in state legislative campaign history, and the DLCC is laser-focused on highlighting the stakes and building Democratic power in the states.
