Trump says “Leave it to the States”

Join the DLCC’s movement to take back reproductive freedom in the states by kicking MAGA extremists out of power and electing Democratic legislators who are committed to restoring abortion rights, defending access to birth control, and establishing legal protections for IVF. Donald Trump and Project 2025 have made it clear that he will leave reproductive rights up to the states – fully empowering state Republicans to pursue the most dangerous anti-abortion legislation. Our strongest defense against these threats is electing reproductive champions to state legislatures. A sustained, monthly commitment to the DLCC is the best way to secure freedom for ourselves and future generations.

A monthly donation allows us to provide consistent, predictable support to the Democratic candidates running in the most competitive races in critical battleground states where reproductive rights are on the line, like Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. Since the Trump-stacked Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, more and more people have recognized the threat posed by extreme Republican state legislators, and our work helps connect concerned citizens like you with a path to take action and make a difference.

This ballot level has been historically underfunded, but the dedicated monthly support of our members helps to fill the gap and connect with people all over the country who are committed to building Democratic majorities in the states – the level of the ballot that has the greatest impact on reproductive rights. Every state with a Democratic-majority legislature has protected or expanded abortion access. When Democrats hold power, they immediately take steps to codify reproductive rights, improve health care access and affordability, and ensure that all people have the tools to care for themselves and their families.

Already, our grassroots supporters have helped the DLCC send millions of dollars to state legislative campaigns. This is a game changer for state legislative races and the power of small-dollar activism – and you can still make a critical difference.
